Abstract:Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections in patients with cancer, and guide the rational use of drugs and the prevention and treatment of nosocomial infections. Methods The pathogens and drug resistance of the tumor patients in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. The drug susceptibility test was conducted using the KB paper method, according to the CLSI. WHONET5.6 analysis was used to analyze the species and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria. SPSS software was used for statistical analysis. Five year trend of drug resistance rate was analyzed by chi square test. Results The detection rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was 3.8%. The sample source was mainly from sputum specimen (29.7%) and endotracheal suction (21.3%). The physical distribution in Department of Oncology (25%), Department of Respiratory Medicine (23.5%), and ICU (19.3%) was high. The resistance to amikacin (7.6%) was the lowest and cefotaxime (47.2%) was the highest, followed by aztreonam (38.1%) and levofloxacin (30.8%). Among them, aztreonam, imipenem, cefotaxime, trend of year by year. There was significant statistical significance in χ2 test (P<0.05). Conclusion The infection rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in tumor patients was high, and it showed a rising trend in drug resistance.cefoperazone/sulbactam, piperacillin/three tazobactam showed an increasing
